Applications Interior Use
Special paint for all common wall tiles in living areas, such as in kitchens, bathrooms, and toilets. Not suitable for outdoor use or for floor tiles and kitchen countertops.
Composition
Special alkyd resin, special acrylic resin, titanium dioxide, aliphatic solvents, additives
Tools
Velour roller or paintbrush
Thinner
Ready to use, if necessary, substitute turpentine.
Substrate
Tiles and joints must be thoroughly cleaned. The surface must be load-bearing, clean, dry, and free from grease and dust. Remove any mold and lime residue completely. No primer is needed. The paint can be applied directly to the tiles.
Application Tips
Thoroughly remove silicone joints and only replace them after painting and drying.* Remove loose grout, repair any gaps, and allow sufficient drying. Before coating, carefully sand the surface (wear a dust mask). Depending on the tile color, apply 1-2 coats. Do not apply at temperatures below +5°C. Stir well before use and apply evenly in thin layers. When using multiple containers, ensure batch consistency.
*After coating, do not use sanitary silicone for the joints. It contains ammonia for mold control. The ammonia in it will dissolve the paint film and alter the color (irreversibly). Only ammonia-free silicone should be used on painted surfaces (if silicone is necessary). Acrylic sealant can also be used. The product may yellow under insufficient daylight, for example, on pictures, etc.
Coating Process
- Pre-treat the surface as needed.
- Lightly sand tiles before coating (wear a dust mask).
- Remove sanding dust with acetone and let dry.
- Apply 1-2 coats of the product.
Tool Cleaning
Clean tools immediately after use with turpentine substitute, brush cleaner, or universal thinner.
Drying Time
(at +20°C, 65% relative humidity)
| Dust dry | after approx. 4 hours |
| Touch dry | after approx. 8 hours |
| Re-coatable | after approx. 12 hours |
Final surface durability is reached after approx. 7-10 days.
Avoid mechanical stress on the surfaces and splashing water during this period.
Drying is significantly influenced by ambient temperature and humidity. Low temperatures and high humidity can delay the drying process.
Care Tip
For cleaning and maintaining painted surfaces, we recommend neutral household cleaners. Please avoid abrasive sponges, scouring milk, aggressive cleaners, etc.
Disposal
Only dispose of empty containers for recycling. Liquid material residues should be disposed of at the designated collection point for old paints.
Storage
Store in a cool, but frost-free place in the unopened original container. After use, close tightly.
